Billy Connolly's Big Send Off    2 × 60"
tx    9pm    Wednesday 7th May 2014    ITV

Billy Connolly embarks on a hugely personal and enlightening journey where he looks at our attitudes towards death.  He looks at how we deal with it whilst also addressing his own feelings and beliefs.

Billy explores both the business of death and his own personal response to how he’d like to go and how he’d like to be remembered.

This poignant yet entertaining trip takes him from a funeral convention in Austin, to a Drive-Thru funeral parlour in LA, via a Voodoo ceremony in New Orleans. Billy also chats to old friend Eric Idle about 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life' being a huge funeral hit.
