Sky 1’s 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy was the only British show to win an International Emmy during a ceremony at the New York Hilton last night.


The Burning Bright and Brown Bread Productions co-production won the gong for best Non-Scripted Entertainment programme, beating competition including MasterChef South Africa.

50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy was one of Adam MacDonald’s first commissions after becoming director of Sky 1 in 2013. It aired between September and August last year, pulling in a consolidated audience of 420,800 (1.6%) over six episodes.
